WE ARE AN IMAGINARY STRING QUARTET
We make strange music
Our concept
The imaginary roots string quartet will play original music composed by Larsen Genovese and other members of the band, inspired by different peculiarities of different folk music styles.
The musicians

Larsen Genovese
Founder / Composer
He likes and plays a lot of different styles of folk music. Studied classical violin in Consevatorio in Palermo, got a little bored with playing only classical music and started exploring other musical cultures. After playing with many bands in different musical styles, in 2024 he decided it’s time to give life to his own Folk-Frankenstein-Style compositions and went on a search for other like-minded brave musicians
